In an effort of giving Work-Study students and hiring departments stability in a very unstable time and in accordance with Federal/State Work-Study guidelines, coupled with the approval of the financial aid director I am able to communicate the following:
A Message from President Sheila Edwards Lange
After carefully assessing the extent of the coronavirus outbreak in Seattle, we have decided to suspend in-person classroom instruction at Seattle Central College, starting on Monday, March 9. The suspension is planned through at least March 25.
Aleks (Math placement) is available online.
ALEKS testing arrangement is considered a temporary accommodation.
State & Federal Work-Study options during the closure
Regarding the Federal guidelines concerning the Work-Study Program. Work study is not open for new hires until further notice.

We have received news of a presumptive positive test result for coronavirus from a Seattle Central College student.
