Spring ’20 Work-Study
In an effort of giving Work-Study students and hiring departments stability in a very unstable time and in accordance with Federal/State Work-Study guidelines, coupled with the approval of the financial aid director I am able to communicate the following:
Work-Study will continue for all previously hired Work-Study students. They will be broken down into two categories, detailed below. All award conditions are still applicable; I’ve attached a copy of the award conditions form.
- Worked Hours ~ All (previously awarded/hired) Work-Study students working remotely will track their hours in TLR, as they normally would for the hours agreed upon with their supervisors, not to exceed 19 hours per week
- Scheduled Hours ~ All (previously awarded/hired) Work-Study students who did not turn down the opportunity to work remotely, however, are unable to do so, because of Covid-19 complications or their hiring department not having remote duties to assign, may continue to receive their spring quarter Work-Study allotment, tracking their hours in TLR, as they normally would for the hours agreed upon with their supervisors, not to exceed 19 hours per week.
