Hi, I’m Kano (he/she). It’s nice to meet you! I’m new to Seattle from Houston, Texas, and I majored in English at Pomona College, where I also worked as a Writing Partner and led the Asian American Mentor Program.

As Events and Activities Specialist at Central, I prioritize directly supporting students and demonstrating solidarity across campus by responding to the current needs of the campus. I’m here to listen — if you have any ideas or suggestions for event programming, please share your feedback!

In my free time, I drink so much tea, fawn over the works of Herman Melville, and occasionally draw things.
